Local charity Open Country, based in Harrogate, has enlisted the help of John Chambers Wildflower Seed in a bid to help re-wild the Wakefield district.

A newly founded not-for-profit project has triumphed in the speedy distribution of wildflower seed gift packets to households across Scotland, the initiative has been developed to bring the joy of wildflowers to those currently self-isolating due to the Covid-19 virus. John Chambers Wildflower Seed has donated 2.5kg of bespoke native wildflower seed to the Hagge Woods Trust for their woodland wonderland at Three Hagges Wood-Meadow.
