Show Garden Mix 100% Wildflowers (JC3169) is a predominantly native perennial blend of over 20 wildflower species, selected for their pastel tones and suitability for show garden beds and ornamental borders.

Featuring species such as Oxeye Daisy, Field Scabious, Foxglove, and Meadow Crane’s-bill, this mix provides elegant, long-lasting colour from May through October. Designed to create striking garden displays, Show Garden Mix also supports pollinators and beneficial insects, combining ornamental appeal with ecological function.

Ideal for show gardens, public realm borders, community gardens, and ecological planting schemes, this perennial-dominant mix offers a sustainable, low-maintenance solution for long-term flower-rich displays.

  • Seedbed Preparation: Prepare a fine, firm seedbed, free from weeds and competing vegetation. Light raking or rolling ensures good seed-to-soil contact.
  • Sowing Time: Best sown in spring or autumn when soil moisture is consistent.
  • Sowing Rate: Broadcast evenly and lightly firm. Avoid deep sowing, which can reduce germination.
  • Establishment: Perennials establish gradually, producing strong foliage and flowering over multiple seasons. Flowering peaks in the first year but increases as plants mature.
  • Management: Cut once or twice annually depending on site requirements. Remove arisings to maintain low fertility and species diversity.
  • Long-Term Care: Avoid fertilisers and minimise soil disturbance to maintain long-term wildflower balance.
